Tatenda Lodge, situated some 650 metres above sea level in the majestic Zuurberg mountain range, is just 25 km north of the Addo Elephant Park and offers you a choice of luxury accommodation.

This ranges from a beautifully appointed three bedroomed lodge, all en suite and air conditioned, accommodating up to ten people, a fully equipped kitchen (suitable for self-catering), a comfortable lounge, private pool, braai facilities, mini bar and satellite TV to six elevated double en-suite log cabins and a two bedroomed self contained log cottage with a kitchenette, lounge, private deck and satellite TV.

In addition, four well appointed thatched cottages with roll up canvas blinds along the front, open up onto a spacious deck, a full bathroom (relax in the bath whilst you soak up the magnificent views down the valley) and comfortable twin or queen size beds. Roll up the blinds and watch the sunrise over the valley from the comfort of your bed. Keep a look out for the indigenous game which can often be seen basking in the early morning sunshine before quietly disappearing into the thickly wooded kloofs.

Guests are hosted in a stone and thatch Boma which comprises of a dining area where sumptuous meals are prepared by the resident chef, the Lion and Elephant bar and a comfortable lounge. Enjoy a sundowner on the deck whilst savouring the tranquility and peace which surrounds you. A lapa set amongst the milkwood trees and open to the stars is the perfect location to relax and reminisce in the evenings after a long eventful day in the country.
